Organized in conjunction with the theatrical release of “La Camioneta” in Guatemala, the artist seeded a copy of the film to leading DVD pirates in Guatemala City, making the film widely accessible to Guatemala’s working class. ”Proxy” is an ongoing project in which the artist collects the various pirated copies of the film found at kiosks or on the streets during subsequent trips.
